Mission of the Month: Casa of Collin County

by Tracy Hookstra | August 11, 2016

This month’s Mission of the Month, we are collecting items for CASA of Collin County, a 501(c)3 that promotes and protects the best interest of children who have been abused or neglected.  CASA trains volunteer advocates to improve a child’s quality of life and serve as their voice within the court system to ensure they are placed in a safe, permanent and loving home.  In 2015, CASA served 522 children and has seen a 25% increase in cases over the last three years. Their current, specific needs are listed below:

  • Back-to-school supplies
  • Toys of any kind for children of any age (new)
  • Personal care items for teenage girls (curling irons, hair dryers, make up kits, finger nail polish kits)

Please deliver donations by Wednesday, August 31 to Keller Williams office (4783 Preston Road, Frisco, TX  75034).  At the office, please knock on our doors at the back of the building (left or middle door).

***Please note, many people have shipped items via Amazon.com or other items to make contributing more convenient. If you choose to ship donations, we request that you ship your items to my office:
