Liberty Mutual is headed to Plano, consolidating several offices and settling in the Legacy West development in 2017, bringing 5,000 employees to the already booming city, which is expected to also welcome 4,000 employees from Toyota and 1,200 employees from FedEx Office. According to a recent WFAA story, though, new employees may have to look in the surrounding cities of Little Elm, Wylie, The Colony and others and commute to Plano. Why? There are not enough homes on the market or being built to meet the influx of new residents to Plano.
