Frisco’s Wade Park, the 175-acre mixed-use development that is projected to cost $1.6 billion upon completion, has acquired another five-star hotel according to the Dallas Morning News. Langham Hotels & Resorts will open its first Texas hotel in 2018 bringing 250-hotel rooms in a 35-story high-rise that will also house residential units. Dallas architect 5G Studio Collaborative has signed on to design the hotel, which will be linked to a planned office tower and the IPic Theater by a pedestrian bridge.
