The Shacks in Austin Ranch

While we were driving the other day, we noticed something different going in at the corner of Windhaven and Plano Parkway in The Colony.  It was not your typical retail development.  Instead, there were little wooden buildings backing to a creek. When we got back home and in front of our computer, we searched for “The Shacks,” and we were excited about what we learned! The Shacks are located on an eight-acre, wooded area that will house six restaurants, an open-air patio and a dog park. You definitely got the feeling you were not in the middle of the city. Billingsley Development is the innovator of this fun concept. So far, the list of restaurants includes: Ten, OMG Tacos, a burger bar, and a Cajun seafood restaurant. There are others that are not yet listed. The Shacks are scheduled to open sometime in April this year. We are marking our calendars!
