Currently, several local cities are under water restrictions in order to conserve water. Plano, Allen, McKinney, Frisco, and Prosper all fall under Stage 3, which allow residents to water once every two weeks. Thanks to conservation efforts, though, Plano residents have received some good news! According to the City of Plano’s website, residents will be granted a one-time, one-day water holiday! This is a result of water that has been sitting in tanks and pipes longer than what’s considered normal. To keep Plano’s high standards of water quality, Plano residents will be allowed to water on an off-week. Even numbered addresses will be allowed to water on Thursday, July 17. Odd numbered addresses can water on Tuesday, July 22. Be sure to stay informed and visit your city’s website for the latest and greatest information. Image: groveland-fl.gov
