Man Installing Smoke Or Carbon Monoxide Detector

Don’t forget to check your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors (thanks for the reminder diynetwork.com!)  Follow these helpful tips to keep your home and family safe:

  • Change the batteries in both your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
  • Test GFCI outlets in the bathroom, laundry room, and kitchen to make sure they are in working condition.
  • Check the attic fan to make sure it runs properly as it helps keep the house cool in the upcoming summer heat.
