According to a recent study conducted by consumer advocacy website NerdWallet, Frisco, Texas ranked first as the best city in Texas for young families. NerdWallet evaluated 111 cities, towns, and census-designated places, and Frisco topped the list after the following was examined: public school ratings, median home value, cost of homeownership, median income, and long-term income growth. The fast-growing city will soon be home to the Dallas Cowboys headquarters and the mixed-use development Wade Park, and has endured a 246.9% population growth in the past 14 years.“Our study revealed that school districts here offer more than just impressive test scores; they’re also investing in new sports facilities and innovative classroom programs,” said Spencer Tierney, an analyst at NerdWallet. In addition, Frisco’s income growth is 10% above the state of Texas’ rate and has almost 1,400 acres of parks.
