Collin County Property Values Rise

by Tracy Hookstra | June 18, 2015

According to a recent Dallas Morning News article, Collin County’s total estimated valuations for 2015 have reached $96 billion, up 10.79 percent from last year. Approximately 3% of it can be attributed to new construction. Taxable values for Anna and Melissa are up more than 14% and Princeton and Prosper more than 15%. Both Plano and Frisco also grew significantly, up 7% and 11% respectively. Lots of factors contribute to these numbers including the housing market’s supply and demand. With less than a two-month supply of housing inventory available, demand is high. If you have been thinking about buying or selling your home, now is the time! Call The Jan Richey Team today.
