The Dallas Morning News recently evaluated the best neighborhoods for buyers who are interested in living in a Dallas suburb.  Based on the perceived quality of schools, safety, and propensity for property value to rise, the following neighborhoods topped the list.

1. Southlake
2. Frisco (east of Preston)
3. Eastern Colleyville
4. Frisco (north of Eldorado)
5. McKinney (near Nesbitt Park)
6. Flower Mound (from Lake Grapevine to Flower Mound Road)
7. Flower Mound (near Jake’s Hilltop Park)
8. McKinney (north of Craig Ranch)
9. Flower Mound (along Stone Creek)
10. Frisco (west of Dallas North Tollway)
