Mission of the Month:The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County Holiday Shop

With cooler weather heading our way (finally!), it’s time to start thinking about the holidays and our November Mission of the Month!  This month we are donating items to The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC) for their Holiday Shop.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County provides caring professionals and dedicated community partners who work together for the good of children, seeking justice and helping ​children heal from abuse and neglect so they can grow up to be who they are meant to be. Each year, the Center serves nearly 1,000 children through its Holiday Shop. The Holiday Shop is held on a single day during the holiday season. Contributions by members donate an incredible array of toys, bikes, games, DVDs, teen items, books and other gifts which are then used to stock the CACCC Holiday Shop. Non-offending caregivers are then afforded the chance to “shop” for their children, at no charge, allowing them the dignity of presenting their children with holiday gifts.

CACCC’s Holiday shop wish list needs are:

• Gift Cards
• Make-up Kits
• Tablets and Headphones
• Perfume and Cologne
• Hair Styling Tolls
• Sports Equipment
• Art Supplies
• Lego Sets
• Baby Dolls and Accessories
• Dress-Up Clothes
• Bike and Helmets
• Play Kitchens and Accessories
• Work Stations and Accessories

Please deliver donations by December 10^th to our Keller Williams office (4783 Preston Road, Frisco, TX  75034).  At the office, please knock on our doors at the back of the building (left or middle door).

For your convenience, feel free to ship donations via Amazon.com or any other website.  (If you choose to ship items, we request that you please ship to my office).

*If possible, please ask the delivery service to bring shipments to the back door of the office building.*

***Also, we now have Donation Receipts available if you would like to fill out and keep for your records.  They are located on the bench outside my front door under the “Faith” rock.  If you would prefer a digital copy, we would be happy to email one to you, just let me know.
