Mission of the Month

Our February Mission of the Month is for My Friend’s House.  Located in Collin County in an undisclosed location, My Friend’s House is City House’s emergency youth shelter that provides round-the-clock care and services to children ages newborn to 17.  Some of the children come to The House because Child Protective Services removed them from their home due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.  Others are at risk of becoming (or are) runaways or homeless youth.  All are in need of a nurturing, safe environment they can call “home.”

A few items are greatly needed this month at My Friend’s House.  They are

• Tide HE laundry detergent
• Backpacks and tote bags
• Athletic shoes in all sizes: Toddler 2 thru Women’s size 10 and Men’s size 12
