Mission of the Month: Assistance Center of Collin County

Our January Mission of the Month is to collect items for the Assistance Center of Collin County.  On occasion, they have the opportunity to provide services to the homeless population.  While most of the services they provide directly benefit those that are currently in a home, with their goal being to keep them there, their compassion leads them to serve the homeless as much as they possibly can.  For every homeless person that enters their doors, they provide for them not only information regarding services that are available to them, but also an emergency kit.  This kit includes but is not limited to the items listed below.  These items would go a long way in making an already difficult situation a little better.

• Bottled water
• Crackers
• Portable protein (tuna or any BAGGED/CANNED meat that DOES NOT REQUIRE REFRIGERATION OR A CAN OPENER)
• Hand sanitizer
• Socks
• Knit Caps
• Scarves

Please deliver donations by January 31^st to the Keller Williams office at 4783 Preston Road, Frisco 75034.  Please knock on the left or middle door at the back of the building.
