According to a recent Dallas News article, Texas Instruments Inc. is selling its 84-acre Spring Creek campus in Plano, built in 1984. Though there are very little details regarding the listing, the property has been assessed for tax purposes at about $55 million. Spokeswoman Nicole Bernard said that TI plans to relocate the roughly 780 employees who work there to other sites in Dallas and Richardson. “Wireless … was a pretty large division within TI and took up a lot of space,” TI chief financial officer Kevin March said recently. “We have more real estate in North Texas than we need. It’s as simple as that — resizing.”
